Store Pages are a special page type that is fully integrated with WordPress. That means they are fully editable, fully searchable, and completely managed by the built-in WordPress page control system. Yet they are registered as their own custom page type so you can categorize and isolate the pages separately from your primary site content.

Store Pages are complete and fully functional WordPress pages that live as their own page type within WordPress. These pages can be created automatically from your Store Locator Plus locations data. You can then tweak the pages to your heart’s content to get the message and presentation “just right”.

Custom Page Templates
Create your own page content HTML and use live-data shortcodes to display various elements from the store locations table. Check out the Store Pages documentation for more information.
New Page Type
- Store Pages are a new page type that will be added to your WordPress site when you purchase the Store Pages license. These pages are managed separately from your main WordPress pages. They have their own listing section and their own categories. This provides an easy way for Store Pages management to be isolated from the main WordPress site management.
Created From Location Data
The Store Pages can be managed independently of the Store Locator Plus locations database, however most people want to create their Store Pages content from the locations data. The Manage Locations feature of Store Locator Plus has a “Create Page” action available when the Store Pages add-on has been licensed. This feature auto-creates a starter Store Page with the basic location data pre-loaded. The “bulk create” feature provides a simple mechanism for creating pages for all, or a select subset of your locations.
Granular Page Creation Control
You can control which locations pages are created for on an individual basis. Create pages for all your locations with one click, or select just those few you are interested in showing more details for.
Independent Categories
Store Pages has an independent taxonomy which allows you to create store page categories and sub-categories without affecting the rest of the categories and pages on your site.
Tweak, Hide, Trash Pages
Once the pages are created you can easily update them, take them offline temporarily, or trash them (and recover them) like any other WordPress page. You are free to fine-tune and manipulate the pages to suit your needs.
URL Control
Use the Permalinks Starts With setting to change the default base URL from /store_pages/<storename> to whatever is appropriate for your site. If all of your locations are for rum distilleries change the setting to rum_distiller and the WordPress URL becomes something like /rum_distiller/matusalem.

How Do I Create Store Pages?
With the Store Pages add-on, creating a new store page is easy. Go to the “Manage Locations” screen and click on the create page icon next to any listing. You can also check off multiple listings and click the “Create Pages” button in the Location Actions box at the top of the page.
What If I Update My Data?
Select the Create Page feature again, the page will be re-written with the new data.
